Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various aspects of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of building and renovation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in construction trades and possess a strong work ethic. Duties
- Assisting with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Supporting specialised trades such as roofing, plastering, masonry, and carpentry
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Applying construction painting techniques as required
- Handling materials and equipment, ensuring proper storage and disposal
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
- Assisting with the use of scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience or familiarity with construction trades such as roofing, plastering, masonry or carpentry is advantageous but not essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills across different trades within construction projects
